✨ Inside “Exhale”: What It’s Like to Experience a Sound Bath & Oracle-Making Retreat
Sometimes, the best kind of healing doesn’t look like a breakthrough.
It looks like a room full of candles, a handwritten journal prompt, a soft hum of crystal bowls — and finally, an exhale.
That’s exactly the kind of space I’ve created with Exhale, a 5-hour retreat in Brooklyn for those feeling overstretched, undernourished, and quietly burned out.
I designed this evening to be both grounding and uplifting — the kind of experience that gently brings you back to yourself without asking anything more of you than presence.
🌿 What Happens at the Retreat?
The retreat begins with soft music, herbal tea, and a floral intention-setting ritual. Each guest chooses a flower and a word — an offering of how they want to feel. We place them into a shared altar vase, and in doing so, begin to weave the energy of the group.
From there, we move into breathwork and a grounding mini sound bath to calm the nervous system. You’ll rest into our 4” ultra comfort floor cushions as bowls and chimes begin to guide you deeper inward.
Then comes journaling — not the kind that demands answers, but the kind that opens doors. You'll be given prompts designed to stir the voice inside you that may have gone quiet. These reflections will seed the creation of your very own 24-card oracle deck, which we’ll begin after dinner.
We break gently — bring your own nourishment, and we’ll share a quiet meal together surrounded by candles and calm.
Then we create.
Using watercolor paper, dried flowers, washi tape, pens, and intention, you’ll make your own intuitive oracle deck — not for perfection, but for connection. There’s no wrong way to make your cards. You’re not performing. You’re listening.
We close with a long sound bath, one that invites full rest and integration. Wrapped in blankets and supported by soft cushions, you’ll drop into a state of sound-led stillness — the kind your body knows how to receive.
For those who feel called, optional tarot readings are offered after the retreat as a way to receive one final reflection.
💫 Who Is This For?
Exhale is for anyone carrying too much.
For the person who says “I’m fine” but hasn’t felt truly rested in months.
For the creatives who haven’t created.
For the ones who need quiet more than advice.
Whether you’re new to sound healing or you’ve been to Soundawn before — this is a deeper experience. One with ritual. One with art. One with stillness that actually holds you.
